Wade was born on July 12, 2013, he was about 10 minutes younger than his twin brother Derek. Their parents Alexander and Laura welcomed them both with a big family reunion at their house in Picon.
Twins with differences when it comes to interests, that was noticeable since they were kids. Derek was a kid that often stayed inside reading all sorts of books while Wade was outside, playing with other kids. Wade used to go get his brother and drag him outside to play with other kids, sometimes this worked, sometimes it didn't.
One other great interest that Wade had when he was a kid, was to build aircraft models and hang them all over his room. The last one his parents bought him, finished a collection of 214 different models, all hand painted by the young kid. To Derek, the parents bought all the books that the kid requested, ending up in a collection of 201 books.
Wade's interest in different types of aircraft only grew larger thanks to his uncle Robert, his mother's brother. Robert was pilot for a company that was running a shuttle service between key points in Picon. Robert used to let Wade sniff around the hangars, checking out the different ships, learning about them and how to fix small things. This of course, developed the interest that would eventually lead them to make a final decision, he decided to become a Pilot. It was curious to see what happened when he decided this, the first ship that came to his mind, was the Colonial Viper, and this sealed his fate.
When he turned 16, he got a license to pilot under the supervision of another Pilot with a class five license, his uncle was one. Under his guidance, he was able to do short flights for the Shuttle company. His parents of course allowed this.
At age 17, they also allowed him to join the Picon Fleet Academy. His brother Derek, entered the Picon College of Law at age 18.
During his 4 years at the Academy, Wade certainly wasn't the number one in his class, but his grades were good enough. He specialized in Advanced Propulsion, landing him on a good position when it comes to Engine Design. His brother Derek, graduated from College and became a lawyer for a Kythera Law Firm, so the older Twin moved to Leonis.
Wade jumped to the Flight School after this, and since his IFT was already accomplished by piloting those Shuttles, he saved himself some time. He spent a total of 20 months before being released as a new shiny Ensign. His performance during the PFT stages of his training, granted him a spot in the team of Viper Pilots. This of course pleased him quite a bit and he made sure to work hard to quick start his career as a Viper Pilot.
In 2035, his Superior Officers at the Flight school, assigned him to the Battlestar Corvus (BS-78) and the CAG there, assigned him to the VF-27 "Swords". Wade earned his callsign during his first month with the 'Swords'. His squadron mates played him a prank while he was sleeping. They placed one of his hands into warm water and the younger pilot ended up peeing himself. After this event, he earned the callsign, 'Drips'. He spent a total of 25 months with the "Swords" and after the squadron got disbanded, all it's team members were sorted into different stations.
2037 was the year in which Wade was transferred to the VF-221 "The Horsemen" a Viper Squadron hosted in the Battlestar Chimaera (BS-81) On year later, he was awarded with the rank Lieutenant JG. Almost 4 years he spent with "The Horsemen", it was said that he should have made Lieutenant but a few problems with another Viper Pilot from another squadron, delayed this option, at least a little bit.
Close to the events of Warday, he was granted with a 2 week shore leave, all of this because his brother Derek was getting married. Wade went down to Leonis and helped his brother get the wedding ready. But, shit fell upon them in the form of nuclear bombs. Most of the family died there, including Wade's parents. Derek was also fatally wounded and died just a few hours after the incident. Wounded himself, Wade was forced to run for it and find hiding.
Months went by, months of wandering around without direction, stuck in a nuked planet. He stole food from stores, stole meds from stores, stole clothes from stores…he did everything he could do to stay alive. Until the Leonis team from the Battlestar Cerberus found him. He returned with them to the big Battlestar when extraction time came, and now, he is one of the many survivors.
