Born into a fairly well-to-do family, Christopher Richards lived the life typical to affluent people who resided in one of Scorpia's larger cities. Expected to take over his father's textiles company, he was schooled in business from the time he turned thirteen, those classes interspersed with art classes which he insisted upon. It grew apparent to him that he'd not be happy wearing a suit and tie and dealing with meetings and ass kissing on a daily basis, however, and that he'd rather be doing something that might make a difference in someone's life. So, at the age of eighteen he went and signed up with the CMC, leaving his parents and three younger sisters behind.
