Ramie. I usually burn these pages, just to
be sure that they’ll get to you. I haven’t burned a
page in days. I know you’re going to say that this is
then dangerously close to keeping a journal. If you keep
a journal, one day it’ll keep you. Oh, it’s the last day
of February, I think. Here’s to socially dangerous act-
ivities.

I find that in the wake of multiple stressors, I’m really
quite a bitch. One of the marines came into the Head
tonight, when I was getting ready for bed. He looked
like hell, and probably felt worse. I was mean. There’s
no way around it. And I mean that in all senses of the
word. Promise would encourage me to apologize, even
despite the action against the civilians, and all of those

Did he help save more lives? Yes. Is it, like Ramon
always says, just a numbers game? I find that having
my head filled with serious thoughts just leads to frakkin’
