Danae Thalia Telemachus was born on April 4th of 2014 in Hebrides, on Aquaria colony, to Drea and Thanos Telemachus. They were a fairly prosperous family, with Telemachus Cruise Lines being a popular tourist destination for island cruises and fishing excursions. From birth, she was gifted with academic prowess; she succeeded in schooling, usually at the top of her class. Her upbringing was typically strict, with both of her parents quite business-oriented, and her father having a history in the Marines. She was a well disciplined child, and one of her favorite things to do with her father was going out to a shooting range.
In high school, Danae attended JROTC, excelling quite well. At the age of 17, she enlisted in the Colonial Fleet, attending the Colonial Fleet Academy on Virgon, where she studied many subjects, though she specialized in Intelligence Analysis above all. Her goals were always quite lofty, even from the beginning, with her eyes set on actually running one of the big ships in the CIC. And it was toward that goal that she worked as hard as she could.
Her first billet, starting in 2035, was on Battlestar Chimera, where she received her roots as a Navigation Systems Operator. She spent two years there, before transferring over to Escort Carrier Marsyas in 2038 to take up a job doing Intelligence Analysis; in her time there, she was promoted to Lieutenant. She was then transferred over to Battlestar Solaria in 2040, where she recieved the honor of becoming a Junior Tactical Officer.
On Warday, the Solaria was in orbit above Tauron, refueling and restocking up on supplies. It was caught unaware by the Cylon attack, and was quickly brought down, with its crew abandoning ship as it was completely destroyed. Danae was aboard one of the Raptors which flew down to the surface of Tauron. Not that it was any better there; the Raptor was easily taken down, crashing down into the southeastern quadrant of Tauron.
She remained on Tauron, fighting and resisting and generally doing her best to avoid death. In one fight against the Cylons Danae's right leg was badly injured, broken and wounded. Thankfully, not a week after her injury, she was rescued by Battlestar Cerberus. She has spent her time since then recovering in the medbay. She's finally able to walk again, though she requires crutches and time to heal further. She's vowed not to let this get in the way of her job, however! She's quite happy to return to work as JTACCO aboard the Battlestar Cerberus!
