Skids is a Lieutenant with the Snow Petrels (VSP-101). She was wounded on Warday, in the aerial battle, and spent the first weeks of the holocaust in Medical aboard Battlestar Cerberus.
Background
Dallas Covington, of the Blue River Covingtons, hails from a little plantation in Aerilon's Southerly regions. She is the 7th, and youngest, child in a family composed almost entirely of boys. Her six older brothers helped raise her, which left a mark on her personality and charm. Her obsession with flight began at age 15, when she first sat in a crop duster. By 22, she signed into Picon's reserves to fly with the Snow Petrels. She is a 29 year old married mother of two lovely little 4 year old twin girls (Rabbit & Cricket). Covington is her maiden name.
In her own words: I was born to the Covington clan on Aerilon, that's the Blue River Covingtons, not the Gibson County Covingtons, (You do not wanna make that mistake), in the more southerly regions of the continent, where the accents are liltin' and soft, words is drug out like time ain't no object. Sweet tea flows freely between neighbors, magnolia blossoms wave in the breeze, and the nearest thing to dangerous we got is one of the boys driving too fast, with a little too many beers in his belly, or the bougainvillea pulling the trellis into disrepair.

Physical Features
Bright green eyes are dark lashed and large, her face fair, cheeks slightly rosy. Her hair falls in long blonde locks, with a slight curl, and seems always in need of a slight tidying. Her build is average, just a little on the short side at 5 foot 4 inches, with a little curve thrown in. Fine lines have just started at the corners of her eyes, though she appears only to be in her late 20s, which indicates that she smiles frequently. Her lips are full, curve easily into a contagious grin, and there is a definite energy about her, a sense that she's rarely caught sitting still. A wide band woven of delicate wire is worn on the ring finger of her left hand. The threads appear to be platinum, though the edge of the ring they are affixed to is white gold.

- Large Family: Dallas is the youngest of 7 kids, and the only girl. She lost count of cousins somewhere around 32.
