INCIDENT SUMMARY

BS-132 "Cerberus" conducted simulated battlespace operations against CF-505 "Praetorian" and CF-1198 "Corsair" as per orders, utilizing the Uram Sector. The engagement began at approx. 2000Z and ended at approx. 2130Z. BS-132 was able to score a victory over the two other combatants.

Initial operations began with operations from VAQ-141, led by MAJ Hahn, conducting reconnaissance into suspected areas of operation. Once the enemy battlegroup was found, they initiated electronic warfare operations. In a technique developed onboard by LTJG Trask, VAQ-141 was able to produce a DRADIS signature that simulated the returns of a battlestar. While this was done and the enemy battlegroup lured in, the exact location of the two ships was relayed back to BS-132 CIC. At this time, BS-132 commenced a jump into the battlespace.

Once arrived, orders were given for the launch of the whole of CVW-14 via flight decks and launch tubes. The dorsal batteries opened-fire with a preplanned barrage sequence as well, the first hits focused on the CF-1198's aft. A single volley of missiles from CF-505 was launched before it commenced jump-prep. The Vipers conducted anti-missile defenses while the Raptors were engaged with electronic warfare with the enemy battlegroup. CF-505 then jumped into a position abaft BS-132. Evasive maneuvers were taken while CF-1198 came under intensifying fire and was killed. At this time an attack was led by LT Laskaris and CAPT Sitka using cannon armaments against the aft and hangar sections of CF-505. This attack, combined with limited available naval gunfire support from BS-132, was successful in killing CF-505.
