INCIDENT SUMMARY
At 2134 hours on 21 Mar 2041, Ensign Daniel Meier called for a security team to report to the starboard hanger bay. I arrived to find the MP squad on duty being progressively overrun by civilians. The civilians misinterpreted the message of hope and unity distributed on a flyer as a warning that the military was going to press them into service. Although an altercation seemed imminent, the situation was successfully dissipated with considerable assistance from Sergeant Galyian and Private Trista.
Of note: MP Lance Corporal Marks hit a civilian. Marks was arrested and is in the brig.
MP Corporal McFaden attempted to join the impending fray, but was stopped by Corporal Brenner. McFaden is in the brig.
