RE: PROJECT MASTIFF
INCIDENT SUMMARY
The breaching charges were fired at approx. 1543 hours and commenced Operation Silent Mastiff. The explosives worked as planned and Colonial forces entered the facility unharmed. Once inside the Marines and other personnel encountered resistance from 'hostile machinery' in the form of production equipment as well as Cylon Raiders. Aggressive response from friendly personnel were able to subdue resistance and continue with operations. Further resistance was encountered near the 'nerve center'. Centurions engaged near several sacks on the wall. During the exchange of fire these sacks were ruptured and desposited blood-like liquid on the final remaining Centurion (which was marked oddly on its headpiece). In the nerve center we discovered a humanoid Cylon hybrid that was plugged into the facility and apparently was dependant on it for life. It said several things out loud but nothing in response to our personnel. It was ordered removed from the station to be returned to Cerberus for study. Marine demolitions teams destroyed the reactor and the foundry was consumed in the following explosion.
