INCIDENT SUMMARY
At 21:00 a flight of Vipers and Raptors, with EVA-qualfied technicians from the Deck aboard. Mission was to clear a path through a small minefield surrounding two turrets and, once done, salvage targeting circuits from said turrets. Using an optimal flight path through the field identified by CAPT Quinn and LTJG Trask, Flight set course through field. Viper Flight cleared targeted mines without incident, any damaged sustained from shrapnel from mines to planes appeared merely cosmetic. Raptor Flight then delivered technicians to turrets and they proceeded with salvage operation. Upon closer inspection it was noted the turrets were armored, which we had not than anticipated, but technicians were able to work around difficulties and complete operation. Both targeting circuits were recovered and all personal returned to the Cerberus without injury or incident.
