INCIDENT SUMMARY
At roughly 2200 on 11 Feb, a damage control party under PO Singer responded to a fire alert from the galley from LT Laskaris, caused by outbreak of grease fire on one of the grills in the kitchen area. Emergency procedures were executed; with the assistance of LT Laskaris and ENS Apostolos, DC crew proceeded to put out the fire using HPT extinguishers. Several injured personnel were given first aid and evacuated by LT Hawke and LTJG Stavrian, who were already on the scene.
