Born in Hades on Canceron to Grant and Amelia Drew, George was positioned for a dubious life with both parents being mid level members of the bureaucracy. An early interest in mechanics and science however would see him taking an exceptional interest in school, earning numerous academic achievements in his early years. As George grew older this interest shifted from mechanics in the natural world to the working of biological systems and this eventually would lead to a fascination with genetics.

Attended University of Hades Medical School for basic coursework. Doctoral studies done on Caprica under Doctor Helena Marsala assisting in her research on genetic drift throughout the 12 colonies. Upon obtaining degree, joined the Colonial Military in honor of parents tradition of service to his own world.

Served at several Colonial Military medical facilities both on general duty and also researching the impact of various ship compounds upon the genes of crewmen. On leave on Leonis when Warday broke out, would remain stranded there until recovery of the refugees.

Drew is a serious looking man somewhere in his mid thirties. His skin has the dusky look of a healthy tan despite life shipboard, brown eyes alert and inquisitive where they rest beneath heavy brows. Black hair shows just a few traces of grey about the temples, cut short and neatly groomed.
